Wates, Wilmott Dixon and Bouygues UK have won spots on a \u00a32.5bn framework to build 7,000 new houses across London.<\/p>\n
The framework, tendered by housing association Notting Hill Genesis, will run for four years until June 2026, with the option to extend for a further two years.<\/p>\n
A total of 39 suppliers were named on the Notting Hill Development Contractors Framework, which can be accessed by other registered housing providers in and around London.<\/p>\n
The houses will range from 50-unit urban infill sites to the regeneration of entire estates in the city.<\/p>\n
Other firms named in the agreement include John Graham, HG Construction, Henry Construction, McClaren, Higgins Partnerships, Vistry, Claritas Group, Countryside Partnerships and Lovell Partnerships.<\/p>\n
Notting Hill Genesis deputy chief executive John Hughes said: \u201cOur new framework is a key part of our commitment to better-quality homes and improving the experience for our residents. The membership of the framework has a greater level of diversity than we have achieved before.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cWe want the companies we work with to reflect the communities in which we work.\u201d<\/p>\n
Firms based in London and southeast England make up the majority of firms selected for the scheme.<\/p>\n
Essex-based Higgins Partnerships managing director Steve Leakey said: \u201cWe already have a well-established partnership working with Notting Hill Genesis on projects including Peckham Place in Peckham, the recently completed Woolwich Reach in Newham and City Park West in Chelmsford.<\/p>\n
