Galliford Try has been picked to build the \u00a369m Paisley Grammar Community Campus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The contractor will deliver facilities for up to 1,380 pupils, including all-weather sports pitches, a 300-seat theatre, a dance studio, teaching kitchens and music suites.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The scheme, designed by Ryder Architecture, received planning permission in January and is funded by Scottish Futures Trust and Renfrewshire Council, with the latter acting as client.<\/p>\n

Renfrewshire Council said the new campus would be complemented by a \u00a326m roadworks project that will see the creation of a new 93-metre span steel arch bridge over White Cart Water.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A tender for the project, which also includes 1.7km of road widening and creation of new walking and cycling routes, was launched by Renfrewshire Council in March.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In June 2023, Renfrewshire said the school campus project would start on site in spring 2024 and open in time for a summer 2026 cohort. However, it is unclear whether the delay in getting on site will effect the completion timetable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
