{"id":515284,"date":"2025-02-26T11:05:06","date_gmt":"2025-02-26T11:05:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.constructionnews.co.uk\/?p=515284"},"modified":"2025-02-26T11:05:06","modified_gmt":"2025-02-26T11:05:06","slug":"firms-named-on-660m-public-sector-retrofit-framework","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.constructionnews.co.uk\/contracts\/firms-named-on-660m-public-sector-retrofit-framework-26-02-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Firms named on \u00a3660m public sector retrofit framework"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A major procurement provider has appointed 126 firms to a \u00a3660m retrofit and decarbonisation framework for public sector work.<\/p>\n<p>The LHC Procurement Group (LHCPG) Retrofit and Decarbonisation (N9) framework will run until the end of February 2029, providing public sector clients and registered social landlords with access to vetted local suppliers.<\/p>\n<p>Available through LHCPG\u2019s five <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/LHCPG_regions\">regional business units<\/a>, the framework covers a range of retrofit services, including consultancy, multidisciplinary works, building insulation and performance, low-carbon heating systems, control and management systems, and electrical services including EV charging and solar PV.<\/p>\n<p>Clive Feeney, LHCPG group chief executive, said: \u201cThe N9 framework will play a vital role in helping local authorities and housing associations work towards the UK\u2019s newest and boldest targets on decarbonisation announced at COP29.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a country, we are now aiming for an 81 per cent cut in emissions by 2035.
