It will promote best practice in line with the CIRIA (formerly known as the Construction Industry Research and Information Association) Code of Practice for Property Flood Resilience.<\/p>\n

Members are also expected to adhere to a new code of conduct covering professionalism, quality and customer service.<\/p>\n

Founding members include Gareth Boyd of Watertight International, Shelley Evans of JBA Consulting, Jo Ewart-Sear of Whitehouse Construction, Russell Burton of RAB Consultants, Matt Keight of M3 Floodtec, Simon Crowther of FPS Environmental and Gavin George of APEX Flood Solutions. Secretariat support is provided by Thornby Associates, led by Mike Ockenden.<\/p>\n

The body is now accepting expressions of interest from other organisations active in, or looking to move into, the flood resilience sector.<\/p>\n
